Get ready for December 9 in Taylor, Texas!

Howard Theatre is hosting a special screening of the award-winning film Rainy Day Friends directed by Gary Kent and starring Chuck Bail and Esai Morales. Also, look forward to a reading from Joe O’Connell’s #1 local best-selling novel EVACUATION PLAN, a novel from the hospice, recently published by Dalton Publishing.

Enjoy the film, enjoy the novel, and meet the stars!!! Both Joe O’Connell and Gary Kent will be at the event, along with one of the film’s stars, Chuck Bail. David Zuniga, Director of Volunteer and Bereavement Services at Hospice Austin will also attend the screening, as a $15 donation is suggested to benefit Hospice Austin. There will be some music- great blues music from Gilbert Wilden of the Austin Blues Daddies, some surprises, and an afternoon of pure, new and unusual entertainment.
