Dalton Publishing is a growing independent publisher based in Austin, Texas. We specialize in outstanding works of contemporary literature. Dalton seeks to publish the highest quality literary fiction and poetry from emerging and established writers in Austin and beyond. Our titles are distributed internationally by Midpoint Trade Books.
Since 2002, Dalton has published local writers and has maintained an active role in Austin’s vibrant literary community. Our priority is to publish the strongest, freshest literary visions for a discerning reading public. We adhere to the highest editorial and printing standards and involve our authors in each step of the publication process.
Dalton Publishing maintains an impressive Social Web presence and has been at the forefront in utilizing social media and Web 2.0 tools to market our titles. We understand that producing a great book is only the first step – getting the word out is a key ingredient to achieve success.
In addition to literary fiction and poetry titles, we also accept non-fiction manuscripts for consideration under our nonfiction imprint, Wiggy Press.
