Dalton’s Own Joe O’Connell is Violet Crown Book Award Finalist

Our very own Joe M. O’Connell’s novel-in-stories, Evacuation Plan, a novel from the hospice, is a finalist for the Violet Crown Book Award in Fiction. He is among 6 other finalists. The Violet Crown Award is given out annually by the Writers League of Texas. On November 1, the winner will be announced at the Texas Book Festival and awarded a $1,000 prize!
