It’s twenty years later. A conquering horde is on the move across the local universe, not one but two Jack Plentys gird for battle, and Meg Christmas surfs the byways of consensual reality looking for answers. Alternating between the exile earth of the Dvarsh - Habdvarsha - and the command sphere of the megalomaniacal General Rataxes, this follow-on to Prelude to a Change of Mind picks up and enlarges the tale of Meg, the Dvarsh, the Thrm and a very bad man in a lime green uniform. Entranscing, the second book of The Hidden Lands of Nod, follows Meg into the vastly different realms of friend and foe as she tests the promise of her transconsensual ability. With charm and economy, Robert Stikmanz has mapped Entranscing to big ideas, great portents, grand adventure, and considerable fun.

Praise for Entranscing
“When we last left Meg Christmas in Prelude to a Change of Mind, she knew that her adventures with Jack Plenty, Ekaterina, Bad Jack, and the Rataxians were not yet finished. Twenty years later . . . the real adventure begins. Entranscing contains all the same great characters and charming wit that I loved in the first book with . . . more action and intrigue.” -Dr. Tami Brady, TCM Reviews
“As a bookseller, I’ve long been intrigued by works that double dare you to classify them. Robert Stikmanz’s Entranscing, the second book in his Hidden Lands of Nod series, defies easy labels. Like its predecessor, Prelude to a Change of Mind, this novel has a strong spiritual core, which is deftly complemented by its humor, imagination, intelligence and irresistible narrative. Entranscing’s uncategorizability (a word I may have just invented) is also its strength. So, given Stikmanz’s smart and mischievous approach to storytelling and our species’ accepted (if perhaps slightly delusional) concepts of time, space, and “humanity,” is this book a work of fantasy, spirituality, or a sharp commentary on the world in which we live? The answer, of course, is a simple yes to all three, and more than reason enough to read Entranscing.” - Robert Gray, Northshire Bookstore, Contributing Editor for Shelf Awareness
“Readers enthralled with the mythopoetic world of Robert Stikmanz’s Prelude to a Change of Mind will be delighted with this sequel. Fast, funny, and a rollicking good read, Entranscing will unfold in your mind and heart like a multidimensional fire flower.” - Michael Ambrose, publisher of Charlton Spotlight
