Restless Astronomy Garnering Sensational Reviews
October 8, 2008
Award-winning book review site, Armchair Interviews, has given Restless Astronomy by Michael Gilmore a fabulous review. Sarah van Ingen, reviewer, relentlessly praises the collection, calling Gilmore “no amateur poet” and declaring that “some of these poems are among the best being published in the U.S. today.” Van Ingen concludes her rave review noting that “Gilmore’s talent is as good as it gets when it comes to poetry…this is a very strong pick in the poetry genre.”
Guest reviewer Cynthia Murphy has called Restless Astronomy “very enjoyable” in her recent review for Breeni Books. She notes that “Gilmore uses lovely language and writes with a high degree of confidence.” She continues on to call the collection “a colorful mix of poems.” The reviewer praises Gilmore’s shorter poems and his use of beautiful imagery. Murphy compliments the book cover, which she calls “simple, yet intriguing” and ends her review naming Restless Astronomy “a fun, quirky mix of poems.”
