Reviewer Says, “Restless Astronomy is Simply Brilliant!”

A book reviewer for The University of Texas at San Antonio’s campus newspaper, The Paisano, recently raved about poet Michael Gilmore and his first collection of poetry in over two decades, entitled Restless Astronomy. The reviewer calls Gilmore’s work endearing and romantic, and notes that a number of poems from this collection are “filled with intense thought and raw human emotion.” The final paragraph of the review is replete with acclaim: “Restless Astronomy is wonderfully written, and Gilmore’s wit and creativity are outstanding. He has a way with words that keeps readers thoroughly entertained. He is fearlessly bold, which is apparent because his honest emotion is expressed in every line of his poetry. Michael Gilmore is simply brilliant.”
