The Dalton Gang and the new Texas State Poet Laureate at AIPF

Exciting things are happening on the Austin literary scene this coming week! The Austin International Poetry Festival begins on April 12, and continues through the 15th - and EVERY ONE of Dalton Publishing’s poets have been selected as featured poets this year! Congratulations to Ric Williams, W. Joe Hoppe, and Lyman Grant for those honors.

And just as exciting is the appointment of Texas State Poet Laureate to our friend Larry D. Thomas, who wrote the foreword to Lyman Grant’s The Road Home.

Larry, who is often called The Texas Poet, will be featured Friday afternoon at an event hosted by Lyman, and again on Saturday at a special Dalton Publishing AIPF event. Go to the AIPF Web site for more details.
